Helpful Tips:

  • MATCHING

Wallpaper with patterns often require "Matching" up points in a pattern between each strip of paper to be hung. When matching patterned paper on a wall you often have to offset one strip of paper to another. These offsets can create excess paper cut from the strips as you hang them on the wall. Matching or patterned wallpaper will require more paper per project than non-matching paper.

  • DOORS & WINDOWS

Doors and windows eliminate surface area in your room required to be papered. Our calculator uses average sized doors and windows when calculating your needed rolls. However, because of the large variety in sizes of windows and doors it is possible to have extra paper left over.

  • KEEP EXTRA

It's never bad to keep a little extra paper from your project for replacement patches over time. Designs do change periodically and may become discontinued--so your keep extra!
